I am quitting smoking now.. cold turkey. I am on day 3 and I am not giving up I’m in it for real this time!! But i tried chantix a few months back.. stopped it on the 9th day.. made me want to KILL myself. it was horrible. worst mistake ive ever made taking it and wasting money on it. everyone is different, but it has been linked to suicides. it does work for quitting smoking it makes cigs nasty, but it makes everything nasty i don’t recomend it AT ALL… this cold turkey has been hell, but NO WHERE near as bad as i felt on that chantix ..

My friend took it and said it worked great but he drives 1 hour to work and said he just was so bored he quit taking it. I tried the patch and it made me sick so i stopped it.

I haven’t tried it (I don’t smoke) but my dad is using it and he was up to a pack a day. He said he’s cut back a lot..to only a couple a day and he’s still in the process of quitting. So far, he’s been happy with it.
