I’ve been taking Chantax quit smoking pill for 10 weeks and each day my husband says I’m changing into a evil person and I have suisdal thoughts alot.
This is a very real possibility of Chantix and it has been achknowledged by the FDA that Chantix can cause suicidal thoughts, emotional disturbances, mood and behavioural changes. Please see your doctor as soon as you can. If Chantix is inducing these sort of symptoms then this may not be the right drug for you. I tried the Chantix, and I managed to stay smoke free for at least 2 months. It actually got to the point where I was forgetting to take the pills. I am kinda prone to depression, I am lightly Bi-Polar. One night I got real depressed and I did attempt to take my life while on Chantix. I recommend this drug if you want to quit. If you are prone to bouts of depression, I would not take this pill at all.
YES!!! i took it this past may…what a waste of money and time..i stopped it after 9 nine days..i did nothing but sleep and cry.. i even cryed at work.. i couldnt concentrate and all i wanted to do was die i hated everyone and everything, period. i have never had depression or anything of the sort. chantix is evil. i have now quit smoking cold turkey, which was very hard but seems like heaven compared to how chantix made me feel about everything, which is saying A LOT lol
