I’m Getting So Frustrated With Myself That I Can’t Stop Smoking.?

I know smoking is bad for you, I know all the dangers, and when people tell me to quit smoking it kind of pisses me off because when It comes to this I have very low self control, i’ve tried to quit smoking at least 13 times. I’ve tried various methods such as the patch, acupuncture, self hypnosis, won’t take the pill because of all the negative side effects. But how can I stop smoking? Do I have to go to rehab or something, haha how lame would that be.
Plus I have horrible allergies and smoking only aggravates them. I’ve had 5-6 chest infections and bronchitis about 3 times. I’ve only been smoking for about 4-5 years and I’m 20, do you think it’s possible for me to get cancer or other diseases after only 5 years of smoking and a young age?
And right now my allergies have been acting up and I’m coughing up a lot of brown phlegm, and I’ve been doing alright to cut my cigarettes down to 3-5 a day. I’m just wondering if I should go see a doctor or anything. I’m a bit paranoid.

Just stay away from buying smokes. Its very tempting to go buy like 3 packs for me but…. I just think about how much money it is and how it will make a big hole in my wallet. Or Nicoret gum is preempt good you should try it. I’m not sure if can reverse the damage. It depends on how long you have been smoking. If your older then sometimes the damage is done. But, working out will help you. It will keep your brain focused on other things then smoking. I truly believe that’s the way to go.

i kno it hard to quit. my mom is majorly addicted too and so is my friend…hmm..have you tried the straw thing? where when you want to smoke you suck air through a straw instead of smoking a cigg? try finding something that you love to do besides smoking…like music??? idk ..unfortunately you cannot reverse teh damage…here try this if you havent yet: start running around your block a coupple times when you want to smoke..smoke one less cigg than you smoked the day before and soon youll be able to run around the block more and more times and breathe better and better. youll just feel better maybe that is all you need to quit..
