First of all: there is no THE BEST way to quit smoking. We are all different, and what works great for one person might not have any effect on another. So when looking for the best way to quit smoking, it should rather be: The best way to quit smoking for you.

We all react differently to various stop smoking methods, and it is important not to get discouraged, just because one quit smoking method does not work for you.

I personally have had great results with quit smoking hypnosis, but for some of my friends it did not work at all. On the same line, I was recommended quit smoking acupuncture, but since I do not believe in acupuncture, I am sure it will have no effect on me.

So if you want to find the best way to quit smoking for you, I think you first of all must believe in the stop smoking method you choose. Well, before that I think you must have a very strong determination to quit smoking.

There are now so many different kinds of tools that we can use in the fight against the tobacco addiction.
Nicotine gum has been known and used for several years, but now there are also inhalers of nicotine on the market.
Some swear more to a collective cessation course – as job offers, while others try hypnosis or contacts a smoking cessation adviser.
Of course, there are also those who have so much willpower that they can quit smoke with a “cold turkey”.

Another best way to stop smoking, is to write a list all the reasons for quitting smoking, and every time the need for a cigarette comes crawling, take out the list of reasons and go through them one by one

Some smokers choose stop smoking drugs like nicotine patches, nicotine gum or inhalers. Others go for stop smoking medication, quit smoking pills, like Chantix or Zyban. If you examine these methods, you will find that what works for one person, does not necessarily work for you as well.

Some choose to get support in a quit smoking group or a quit smoking forum, while others prefer to take on the fight alone.

It think a lot a smokes actually fear to look for the best way to stop smoking for them, maybe because they deep down inside, don’t want to quit smoking – for different reasons. Gaining weight is a common concern when thinking about quitting smoking, and while many indeed gain weight, it can quite easily be avoided with the proper diet and exercise.

I’m scared to stop smoking cuz of the side effects that I might get from the pills.
